Walsh College will offer part two of the Certified Management Accountant (CMA®) exam preparation course beginning Feb. 27 thru Apr. 17 at the Troy campus. The course, which is offered weekly on Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m., is designed to assist accounting students in preparing for the CMA exam. The CMA designation is granted by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and signifies a mastery of principles and practice for corporate accountants and corporate finance professionals. The preparation course is offered in two parts. The first part is an eight-week session that is offered in the fall. The cost of the prep course is $1,620. Walsh is one of five colleges in Michigan to receive an IMA endorsement for its CMA path in the Bachelor of Accountancy (BAC) program . Walsh's Master of Science in Accountancy (MAC) program is ranked No. 8 in the nation by TaxTalent (2018 Top in Tax Educational Survey according to tax employers). The Master of Science in Accountancy for Accounting Graduates program has also added a Data Analytics concentration to go along with Finance and Taxation concentrations.
