Walsh College will host an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. on May 18 a Macomb University Center at Macomb Community College’s Center Campus to highlight Walsh’s highly regarded undergraduate and graduate business and information technology degree options. Walsh academic advisors will be on hand to answer questions and offer guidance to students who wish to turn their Macomb Community College credits into a bachelor’s degree, or start on a path to a master’s or dual master’s degree. At the Open House, attendees will have an opportunity to: Learn how to transfer up to 82 semester credit hours to Walsh Have their transcript reviewed and evaluated for admission on the spot Learn about financial aid options, scholarships, and student organizations Waive their admission application fee Review all of Walsh’s 16 undergraduate and graduate degree options, including the new Master of Arts in Business, which will be available for the first time in the fall 2017 semester “At Walsh, we will transfer up to 82 semester credit hours, which is equivalent to three years of full-time college credits; that’s a big savings in tuition cost,” said Angela Boesler, assistant director of recruitment, Walsh College. “In addition, Macomb transfer students with at least a 3.750 incoming grade point average and 60 credits may qualify for a Community College Excellence Scholarship of up to $1,250 per semester when they transfer to Walsh College.” To register for the open house on May 18, visit info.walshcollege.edu/advancetowalsh.
