Great Lakes Caring Hospice Volunteer Training Scheduled! Saturday, September 29, 2018 10:00am - 2:00pm held at: Great Lakes Caring Hospice, 19176 Hall Rd. Ste. 130, Clinton Township, MI 48038 REGISTRATION REQUIRED: 586-468-8580 or via email - chickerson@greatlakescaring.com Volunteers are needed to visit with patients and engage them in activities such as, playing music or singing, working on a craft project or sharing a special talent, or simply providing companionship through listening, talking, or holding a hand. Volunteers can sometimes provide respite care, allowing family members to take a much-needed break. Hours are very flexible, weekdays, evenings or weekends. Typically, we ask that you would visit your assigned patient 1-2 hours per week. **Drug Testing Required**
