Description
Almost anyone can recognize a Monarch Butterfly with its bright orange wings, stunning black edging, and playful white spots. This butterfly is beloved by many, but its populations are falling. What can YOU do? How can YOU help? Meet up at Wild Birds Unlimited on Mack Avenue in Grosse Pointe Woods for an informational presentation led by guest speaker, Jean Fitzell Persely. During the session, Persely will share tips about how to create a Monarch habitat in your yard, or how you can take it a step further and learn to raise and release Monarchs! This session is great for first-timers as well as a good review for those who already have experience helping Monarchs. PLEASE RSVP by calling (313) 881-1410, as space and seating are limited.
