Join Rosann Kovalcik, store owner of Wild Birds Unlimited in Grosse Pointe Woods, on a guided bird walk throughout the grounds of the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House. Beautiful gardens, picturesque shorelines, and of course, a wide variety of birds can be expected! During her years and years of bird walks at the Ford House, Kovalcik has reported over 190 species of birds on the property. Recommended gear includes waterproof and comfortable walking shoes/boots, weather-appropriate clothing, and binoculars (although there are a limited number of loaner pairs available for use). Due to renovations to the Activities Center, there will be no post walk gathering place for any of this season's walks. Tickets are now a reduced price of $5 per person.
