Come Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Optimist Club of St. Clair Shores! Enjoy a Family Style Dinner including roast sirloin, chicken piccata, broiled cod, garden salad, roasted potatoes, vegetables, soft drinks, coffee, and tea. CASH BAR This Club has been busy over the past 25 years! Their projects include St. Clair Shores own "Santa Station"; "Petting Farm" and "Train" at the Selinsky-Green Farmhouse". Thanksgiving and Christmas donations and deliveries of food baskets to needy families in the community; Holiday Bike Program; Junior Golf Tournament; 9-Mile Clean-up, and the Childhood Cancer . In 2012. the club added "Call to Courage" SCS Police recognitions & awards breakfast and the SCS First Responders Fire Department Appreciation Breakfast. In 2015, they began projects serving the needs of foster care children in the city and Macomb County. As of 2017 they have awarded over $112,000 in scholarships. The Optimist also work closely with other key clubs and the city during the Annual Goodfellows Newspaper Sales, SCS Memorial Day Parade, SCS Halloween in the park, Tree Lighting, and the Miss St. Clair Shores Scholarship Program - Lac St. Clair Art Fair,
