Dancers can enhance their training and get live performance experience with the Macomb Ballet Company! The Macomb Ballet Company selects its dancers through annual open auditions. Dancers must be between the ages of 8-25. The auditions are in the form of a ballet class with barre and center work. Audition attire for girls is a solid black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers and hair in a bun. Boys are to wear solid black dance pants, a white T-shirt and ballet slippers. Female dancers who are on pointe should bring pointe shoes for both auditions. There is a $25 audition fee per audition.
