Ranae Hamama serves as the Associate Director for Executive and Professional Development at Wayne State University. In this role, she leads strategic initiatives to expand professional learning opportunities for individuals and organizations, fostering partnerships that drive workforce development and innovation across sectors.

Ranae brings extensive experience in higher education leadership, partnership development, and student success. Prior to this role, she served as Associate Director for Transfer Student Success, where she led university-wide initiatives to streamline transfer pathways and enhance advising support for incoming students.

She is passionate about building collaborative programs that connect education with industry needs, support lifelong learning, and strengthen Michigan’s talent pipeline.
