Care House’s 27th Annual Christmas for Kids fundraiser will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the beautiful Cherry Creek Golf Club in Shelby Township. This is our signature event and features magnificent carving stations, deluxe pasta and salad stations, premium open bar and a “Dream Dessert Room,” along with festive music and fun, and the spectacular live auction and raffle packages that our Christmas for Kids events are known for. All proceeds from this event support Care House in providing help, hope and healing to child victims of sexual and physical abuse in Macomb County.
Child abuse is a devastating and pervasive problem that affects thousands of children in Macomb County every year. Care House is the only agency in Macomb County providing comprehensive intervention and treatment services to child victims of sexual and physical abuse and their families. Since 1996 Care House has coordinated over 11,600 forensic child interviews and provided services to over 13,500 families, including crisis counseling, child safety assessments, support groups, trauma-focused therapy, family advocacy, crisis counseling, referrals to community services, and child abuse prevention education. Families are never charged for the services they receive at Care House.
