C. Harold Wills is one of the most quietly influential figures in early American automotive history, yet his story is rarely told. This March, the Packard Proving Grounds invites guests to rediscover the legacy of the visionary engineer, designer, and innovator whose work helped shape the direction of the modern auto industry. Presented by Terry Ernest, founder and longtime Executive Director of the Wills Sainte Claire Auto Museum, this program brings decades of research, personal passion, and hands-on preservation together in a way only Terry can deliver. With a lifetime spent studying, restoring, and sharing the story of Wills and his remarkable Sainte Claire automobiles, Terry offers an intimate look into both the man and the machines that defined his legacy. From Harold Wills’ contributions to early Ford engineering, to the bold and technologically advanced Wills Sainte Claire marque he later founded, this session explores the triumphs, the risks, and the extraordinary ambition behind one of the industry’s most fascinating chapters. Join us as we celebrate a pioneer whose innovations still echo through the automotive world today. Sunday, March 8th 1–2 PM $5 for not-yet members | Free for members Tickets: PackardProvingGrounds.org/Mar8-HSS-PPG
