DESCRIPTION:The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is a groundbreaking program that transforms middle and high school students in local communities across the country into real\, confident entrepreneurs through an exciting project-based approach. NAWBO/EXCEL the 501(c)3 arm of the National Association of Women Business Owners Greater Detroit Chapter is helping young girls between the ages of 12 and 18 to start as students and end as CEO's in 30 short weeks. As a part of this phenomenal program\, a Panel of local CEO's will be participating in a roundtable designed to help the girls better understand what it means to become a CEO. These successful CEO's will support the students experience by sharing your entrepreneurial story as a member of the YEA! CEO Roundtable. As a member of the CEO Roundtable\, these individuals will have the opportunity to share their story\, offer guidance\, and give direction to the class. This experience will have a significant impact on the students ability to launch and run their own REAL\, business or non-profit organizations.
