DESCRIPTION:Martha T. Berry Medical Care Facility\n\nSince 1965\, Martha T. Berry (MTB) has been the skilled nursing safety net for Macomb County's most frail seniors who are no longer able to care for themselves physically and financially. One of only 32 County Medical Care Facilities in the state\, MTB is a testament to the commitment Macomb County's Executive and Commissioners have for our county's most vulnerable seniors.\n\n \n\nMartha T. Berry Foundation\n\nThe Martha T. Berry Foundation is a community based coalition of caring people that focuses on enhancing the lives of those who have lost so much. Serving the residents in Macomb County's Medical Care Facility\, they provide many items that impoverished residents are unable to afford\, and help make life worth living. Recently they have provided blanket warmers\, lift chairs\, specialty wheelchairs\, eyeglasses\, dentures\, hearing aides\, and sponsored a caf . Currently\, the Foundation is fundraising to get a bus to help more wheelchair bound residents out in the community to enjoy sporting events\, shopping\, movies and more.
