DESCRIPTION:The Stahls' Automotive Foundation invites all veterans\, current military\, first responders and their families to kick off the Power Play for Heroes weekend at the Stahls' Automotive Collection on Saturday\, Nov. 11. Bring the whole family on a road trip through history featuring nearly 100 classic and vintage vehicles including the newest additions\, a Renault Model 45 Tourer and a 1938 Mercedes-Benz 320 Cabriolet B. The museum will be home to military vehicles and memorabilia on loan from the Detroit Arsenal of Democracy. As you stroll through the museum\, enjoy the sounds of the Collection's Wurlitzer Pipe Organ\, played live by renowned organist Dave Wickerham and the museum's newest addition making its public debut - a 1920 Gaudin Dance Organ\, the largest of its kind in the world. Join in on an array of activities to honor our service members that will encourage open conversation between generations. Catch footage of historic military moments including a special viewing of Bob Hope's USO Tour. The Veterans Day Open House is free and open to the public. A $5 donation is encouraged and all proceeds will benefit the Guardian Angel Medical Service Dogs.
