DESCRIPTION:The Motor City Symphony Orchestra will close its 46th season with The Russian Greats at 3 p.m. Sunday\, April 28 at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts located at 44575 Garfield Rd. in Clinton Township. Performing under the baton of music director/conductor Gina Provenzano\, the Motor City Symphony Orchestra will feature pieces inspired by war\, revolution\, culture and art that include: Festive Overture (Shostakovich)\, Overture on Three Russian Themes (Balakirev)\, Caucasian Sketches (Ippolitov-Ivanov)\, Marche Slav (Tchaikovsky)\, Overture to Prince Igor (Borodin)\, and Pictures at an Exhibition (Mussorgsky). Tickets are $23 for adults\, $20 for seniors\, $10 for college students\, and K-12 are free.
